Now offering the Skinz Guzzler Turbo (Boost) Helium hood which incorporates a direct cold air intake system for the Polaris Matryx Turbo Snowmobiles. The air intake system is integrated into the upper section of the Helium hood replacing the existing storage area. The upper intake section is a structured skeletal design allowing air to be pulled from all sides and the top of the intake structure. It is combined with a lower plenum incorporating a 3” flared intake tube. There is a new MAF sensor mount on the lower plenum. The air is filtered by a Skinz custom designed and sewn intake mesh specifically built to allow air but not moisture using Outerwears Pre-Filter material. (Note: Outerwears Pre-filters are designed to enhance the efficiency of any performance or exposed air filter. The Pre-filter is constructed with a proprietary polyester mesh with uniform micron openings. The mesh is UV resistant, filters debris down to .005”, is shatter proof in freezing temperatures, and resistant to heat up to 450 degrees. The material is puncture resistant and has elasticity characteristics allowing the threads to return to the original position in the event the threads have been impacted or shifted. Pre-filters are designed to deflect the damaging debris, which clogs air filters, compromising peak airflow and horsepower). The intake tubes are ducted straight into the turbo inlet with 3” silicon HPS fittings and mandrel bent aluminum tube. All parts are included in the kit for complete installation. This is a complete Helium hood assembly.

Gauge Options- 7S or Standard Gauge 

Laminated/Wrap hood. 

Formed with a protective film on the surface making it a great option for people who will wrap their hoods or want a lower cost option. It is a softer surface and will scuff easier but it is suitable for wrapping which will provide a durable surface. 

It can be used without a wrap but users should be aware it will scuff easier and it is not as hard as a urethane surface. 

It is a great solution for customers who would like a Helium hood but are needing an economical solution.
